Tasteful, tasty and gay-owned (but straight friendly)
The Roebuck is a traditional-styled pub located in South London and opened back in 2013. While the pub has gay owners, and caters to the LGBT community, it is welcoming to any and all members of the public.
The reason the Roebuck draws such a decidedly mixed clientele is because of the fantastic food and drinks on offer, with real ales and craft beers, top brand spirits and wines. If you’re feeling hungry, their food is all fresh and home-made, including a the traditional Sunday Roast which you can enjoy in their comfortable dining area – which even includes a real fire.
The pub doesn’t have any karaoke, but instead the atmosphere is a little quieter, on Thursday there is a quiz night if you’re curious though! An ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
